We've had some of our best years with him in charge. Playoffs, promotion, and beating Man U at home, getting the best striker in the country under the noses of everyone, then flogging him for a great big profit, and getting Earnie as a replacement! in three seasons, it was a great time to be a yella 'n' green.
Then there were the bad times, not finishing off Brum at Cardiff, endless cup misery, Crispy Palace hoodoo, getting a CLASS defender(Helveg) and not giving him a go cos he got whooped by Giggs in his first match, Fulham 6-0, some dire transfer deals (Jarret,Whose et al), and not fully utilising the acadamy (Jarvis', Spillane et al)
If we would have won covincingly today, we would be looking at 2nd only 3 points away, instead it's Sheff Weds and Hull only 3 points away.
I'm glad Worthy is leaving, it is the right time for the club to look forward, with plenty of the season left to make a difference, and get us back where we belong. (Well, at least the top 6)
Good Luck Nigel, and from this supporter your reign will be remembered as one of jubilation and heartache.
