a personal perpective on the worthy years...what do you think

now he has gone....
firstly i agree that he had to go. He had lost the dressing room and stayed too long. but some people had it in for him for a long time and treated him unfairly.

when he became manager we were in s hocking state. He stabilized us, got us to the po final and two years later got us promoted as champions. We had a fair bash at the prem and then a dissappointing last season to say the least.

i would like to thank him for....
the playoff victory against wolves
taking us to the prem with style and great wins like the 5-0 against walsall
beating manu 2-0
bringing players like hux, ashton to city
giving us seasons (apart from last one!) when we were involved right up to the last couple of games in either a playoff/championship/near great escape
4-4 v middleborough
....and not spunking all the budget on players he did not think were good enough in the close season in a desperate bid to save his job
none of the players he got rid of coming back to embarrass us
he always seemed an honest and genuine guy
but....
he should have developed youth better
he could have dealt with some people better and relegation
playing hoof last season

overall i am sure that he will quickily get another job and in the long run will be remembered as a good manager.....lets hope we do not go back to the bad old days.... and etuhu and macv need sorting for their attitude.
am i talking crap?
