That's not fair...

It's easy to gloat now but...

I haven't changed my mind I just think he earnt his chance to turn it around.

Last season was poor but many clubs struggle after they go down due to a NUMBER OF REASONS. High expections adding pressure, players jumping ship a disrupting the dressing room and just adjusting to the rough and tumble of this league again. What I am saying is he deserved the benefit of the doubt.

This season was different. We had had our hangover and it was back to buiness no excuses, he blew his chance.

I still mantian Worthington is an OK manager at this level and to be honest I'd be suprised if we can get anyone in that can last 6 years and be much more popular?

It was time to go because the club is in a rut whoevers fault it was - you can't sack the fans, you can't sack all the players and the board are unlikely to sack themselves so Worthington had to go and it WAS TIME FOR HIM TO GO don't get me wrong.

I also ended up defending Worthy a lot of the time because he got some completely uncalled for insults and critisim - there has been much nasty name calling and a percentage of the fans have hated - and that is the right word - Worthy for years quite irrelevantto what he's done - if we sign a good player it was obvious etc, if we sign a bad one it's all his fault, if we win it has nothing to do with Worthy and all to do with the great fans, players, coach etc and if we loose it's all his fault etc etc. The bias bugged me.

It's easy to say he should have goner earlier but that was speculation to be honest. We Know now it was time for him to go. It's MAJORITY fans - before it was a minority whatever you say.

Does that answer things?!
