Worthy on PinkUn site, explaining our Plymouth defeat: "...We could just go out there and pass our way through teams. You can't do it that way. You have got to have the ugly side as well, which is hard work, to go with doing what we are good at, which is passing the ball. In the last two or three games we have got it the wrong way round, put the cart before the horse - and have not got the results."
So, in claiming we put the cart before the horse, he seems to be suggesting that we should put 'the ugly side' ahead of passing the ball. Yet he says we are good at passing the ball. Surely good sides play to their strengths? However in the same quote Worthy says we can't pass our way through teams. Surely that's exactly what a good passing side does? He makes it up as he goes along! All I can say is we seemed to be doing a good job of being an 'ugly side' to watch last weekend.
Nigel, if you have any 'work ethics' yourself, you will accept that it's now time to go.
