that EVERY single Norwich City supporter wants what's best for Norwich City Football Club. I would however disagree with your general summation that "is it now personal against Worthington for most."
There are a handful of people on here and other City message boards who are abusive and downright disrespectful towards the man. That is wholly unacceptable and unjustifiable... and yes, personal. Equally though, there are those that have articulated well, and in a respectful way, why Nigel is no longer the man for the job. However it does seem in life when something doesn't go right and it's not your doing, you seek to aportion the blame... seek out the scapegoat. It's human nature.
Similarly tomorrow, there will be a small proportion of the matchday supporters making their feelings very clear towards Worthy and the Board. There will be others who whilst wanting change at the club will choose to make their views known in a different and more subtle way.
Very little else in life raises such passions from within. EVERYONE who follows NCFC cares. However, when emotions, feelings, and most significantly now frustrations, run so high, not everyone cares in quite the same way. But for those that realise the time is up for Nigel, it's unfair and incorrect to think for most it's just downright personal.
What I don't think anyone will argue over now is that further change has to happen for the best future interests of NCFC. I believe that change has to happen at the top. I say this without malice or intent, but Worthy out!
