I don't disagree with your points there...

...but I bet if you asked most fans to name an Archant NCFC journalist now, Richard Balls would be the name on more people's lips.

Now, Archant is a media company, so won't be slow to cash in on his popularity and will give their customers what (who) they want, so I could just see him rising ahead of Lakey in a fairly short space of time.

They'll also have to play the game - a local newspaper won't burn it's bridges with it's only big news source, as you say.
