Moreover, Chris Lakey, for one, has at least demonstrated a degree of realism in how he's covered the club in recent months - unlike Waghorn.
I take your point, though. And maybe the real question should be, why do citizen journalists so often talk so much more sense than the men who are supposed to be professionals? None more so than Steve Gedge, who is, in my view, consistently far and away the best writer on NCFC, bar none. Indeed, it was reading Mick Dennis' preposterous attack on Gedge and Balls on Waghorn's site which really got me so angry about this: what's the matter, Mick? Aren't fans (especially ones as eloquent and thoughtful as Gedge) allowed to have a say on their club, or something?
