Meeky's description of it below sounds (To me, anyway) like they had managed to trivialise the whole thing and effectively turn it into a bit of a joke. Granted, football probably is pretty trivial in terms of world poverty/people shooting each other sense, but somehow I would say the tone would please the Worthy In side much more than the Worthy Out.
