On the Pinkun website is an article about an argument over Worthy, leading to a 'family' being arrested. Tis, I allege, Bull****.
I posted a message about this incident on the same day, and it was about PC Watts, No# 1066.
The argument had pretty much stopped (the dad in question wasn't even arrested at first, they let him go!) but, as I've seen him before (Brighton, home 2003, the day the electric failed, ) PC Watts aggresively intimidated a fan by pushing him away in the chest or back. As you would, the guy asked why he was doing it and and PC 1066 said 'because he could'. He arrested him by saying, "Hey, i tell you what i'll just arrested you then' BECAUSE he arrested the guy so aggresively, that's why the family kicked off.
PC 1066 used to stand at the top off the steps between section E & D of the lower Barclay. He intimidated fans, singling out the same people, for no reason. But he started pulling people out of the crowd, who were standing up, just like everyone else around them. (which we don't mind, that's why we all have season tickets there, and if we didn't a the ground would be somewhat quiter) He would take them aside, literally read them his copy of the football ground rules book, saying if they stood he would remove them. So he made people sit while others stood about them. He didn't last long.
So why is he still allowed to get away with the kind of actions others get arrested for?
I appologise for this being a rant and not a message and I should have sent a complaint, like someone suggested back then.
But this PC always seems to be in the thick of the action and usually at the heart of it- and he gives both police and fans a bad name.
