the ludicrous policy of the board taking no interest in transfer dealings has to stop. Personally I wouldn't trust an ex footballer with the money to go to the village shop and buy a newspaper - so giving one, for instance, ?3 million to buy a target man is just asking for trouble - they'd be just as likely to return with a midget!
