Please, for the sake of our club, one of you do the right thing. You cannot allow yourselves to continue hiding your heads in the sand and that a good run of a few games is the same as turning the club around. You can only do this if the ship starts to steer a new course. I can understand your reluctance to do so but the evidence has piled up to the point where it cannot be ignored any further.
Nigel,
I thank you for what you achieved in your first three seasons here. You moulded a successful side that played well and cheered the entire county. You had just the right balance. But since promotion, the club has, in general, failed on the footballing side. Yes, there were good periods in the Premiership and last year. But there were plenty of poor ones and this season appears to be going the same way. Being played off the park by a relatively poor Plymouth side is shameful for a club with the support and potential of NCFC.
On top of this, many of the support, myself included, cannot forgive you for some of your comments last year.
As such, I implore you fall on your sword and allow the club to rebuild itself from the mess that has been, in the main, created by yourself and your team.
Best wishes for your future,
Craig
