still defending absolutely anything Worthy does. But now so paranoid about it that he now claims that's not what he's doing.

Spends half the article banging on about how desperate Strachan and Keane were to sign him. (With bugger all evidence, frankly.) And then some choice Waghorn:

"that's not me making some grand, passionate defence of Worthington's transfer policies...That's all there, in black and white - if anyone actually takes the trouble to look for it....until I get the chance to actually see with my own eyes what Mr Dublin is still capable of - I'll take other people's words for it. Only people who have actually seen him play; better still, people who have either played with him or managed him. They tend to know more than most; they tend to know what they're talking about. They certainly know far more about Dion Dublin than me."

I almost worry about his sanity a bit. Maybe he's not just brown-nosing for a bit more access....maybe he actually believes it and is desperately trying to convince the rest of us?
