Marc Overmars

Was having a discussion about wingers in the pub with a few mates, and we got on the subject of Marc Overmars, one of my mates claims that he is openly gay and everyone knows! 2 of my other mates also agreed, apparently its "common knowledge" I had never heard this before, can anybody confirm whether this is true?

Not that it matters if he is, i just want to know if they are just trying to wind me up!
