Well. Now that the shock has worn off, it's possible to think clearly.

It's a decent signing. Yes, most of us would have picked a different former youth-teamer to bring back, but what are we actually looking to get here?

We want an experienced target man who is happy to check the CR bench for splinters 60-70 minutes a game ffs. We've just brought in someone who can do just that. All he has to do is come in and knock the ball down to Earnie if we're chasing the game late on. Dublin or Thorne? I know who I'd prefer, and he doesn't need a magic hat.
