While there is some validity in his general point, he has never actually seen Thorne in a Norwich shirt, and so isn't really capable (in my opinion) of understanding why people find the fact that Thorne is still at the club, let alone anywhere near the team, so frustrating.

He also, I've noticed, seems very, very fond of disagreeing with what he conceives to be the majority opinion.
