To date, I've been Worthy-neutral, that is, I could see a case for removing him and wouldn't have minded seeing a new manager, but still had some sympathy for the view that stability is a good thing for a football club.
But this is f**king ridiculous. The short term signing of an over-the-hill player, blocking the way to some valuable experience for our promising young strikers, demonstrates a lack of judgement so blatent that he has to go. Now.

(Obviously, I hope that DD scores a bunch of goals and proves me wrong, but I seriously doubt that he will.)
