Yes. Basically, what happened is that Sheepy was Chairman of a Football League committee

which was in charge of negotiating the deal.

He was chosen with a whole load of other bigwigs to get the best deal for the League possible. He was totally out of his depth, and f**ked up royally by not asking Carlton and Granada to guarantee ITV Digital. He thought that C&G would never let ITV Digital go under ...

Then the League sued their solicitors, saying it was all their fault for not pointing out that C&G might let ITVD go under. It was a hopeless claim which got thrown out, but Sheepy told a whole lot of whoppers to the Judge trying to support the claim, and the Judge has been pretty rude about him.
