Anyone see that bit about Cotterill in the telegraph yesterday?

They do a feature on teenage stars. Yesterdays was on coterill. He basically said he had signed for Norwich and passed a medical before the offer from Wigan came in. He then says he spoke to Nigel Worthington about the Wigan offer "who was very good about it and said he wouldn't stand in my way."

Excuse me!!! This kid who we really wanted to sign and who has effectively signed for us phones up and says he wants to join Wigan and Worthy says that? What kind of message does that send out to the player that we really want him. What does it also say about Worthington's preception of our clubs standing against a tin pot club like Wigan!
