These guys are strikers, yes? It's their JOB to score goals. So what if they score a goal after we boo them? Doesn't show that they wouldn't have scored a goal anyway.

To establish this you'd have to be able to show that (a) the average number of goals per head scored against us by un-booed strikers is X; and (b) the average number of goals scored per head against us by booed strikers is Y; and (c) that Y is bigger than X
