Is that he won't go. He won't quit (all of his horses have come in at once here-and, besides, where else in football would he get a managers job?) and there is no way Delia and co will sack him, their support for him is total, and, providing he maintains CCC status, that, to them, is success...

When the next AGM happens, the loyalists will clap him and the board to the rafters again and it will be assumed, again, that all is well at the club, and the status quo will be maintained.

He's here for the long term still, I can't see anything or anyone changing that.
