Let's face facts

Worthy doesn't have a great record in the transfer market when it comes to picking up players cheap. For every Damien Francis there's a Keith Briggs.

On the other hand we have people like Mumby coming out on Sky Sports News the day after relegation and saying that money would be available for strengthening. That clearly wasn't the case last season until we sold players. This season we have sell out crowds, a couple of seasons where money has come in from transfers, a smaller squad, a parachute payment and still we're told that money is tight.

In my opinion the club has this mentality of trying to remain a nice little club fighting against the adversity of the big corporate giants and this has to stop
