My first game was at home to Palace in '73. I can barely remember a thing

Except I can still see Stringer heading the winner in the last minute. The only other thing I can remember is the crush coming out of the ground when we headed back over the bridge.

I didn't even realise until a year or two ago (thanks to Creosote) that it was the game that kept us up.

Guess how old I was ...
