EVERYONE is entitled to their view, BUT your stance over Murdoch killing football is absolute and utter bollocks I'm afraid.
Sky have pumped billions into the game. It's the clubs and those that run them that are ruining the game by paying extortionate transfer fees and player wages. Professional football in this country has become its own worst enemy. The money that's been swilling about has been used and totally misused by the elite clubs, and that is why the division is more apparent than ever. Murdoch only paid for the product to sell his own satellite channels. He didn't dictate where the money was to go, and what should be done with it.
Cricket has been rejuvinated through Sky's money, as has Rugby Union and League. We have a lot to be thankful for as far as Sky are concerned.
As for Sky's television coverage. World class, and second to none. End of discussion.
