For your basic beer, Tuborg is superior to Carlsberg. However, the ranges of both extend far beyond the piss sold abroad. Eg. Carlsberg Elephant is great - and fantastically strong. And the Carlsberg Royal Wedding beer was very, very nice. The Easter and Christmas brews are good too. Both brew awful Weiss beer ...

Anyway, Carlsberg & Tuborg merged a few years ago, but Denmark does have smaller regional breweries and several micro-breweries.
