My view on Parkin

As said many time before, he would be back up here, nothing more.

I think this has to be a pivotal season for both Jarvis and Henderson. If they are not getting a few games, in the Fizzy League, when they are both reaching their early 20's, then you have to start wondering if they will ever make the break through. With that being the case, another experienced striker is not important IMHO. Also, we can throw Doc and Jonson up there in an emergency, which means we have 6 strikers, in one form or another, on the books.

The way I look at it - if nobody else leaves this season, we have a team that is stronger than the one that were Champions 14 months ago. We do need some back-ups, like Jarret, but not ones that we should pay good money for.

If we don't spend any money now and see what areas need strengthening in January, I think we will be in a very strong financial position, compared to most clubs, to really get in some quality then.
