Why the Fu.ck are we after Huddlestone?

Correct me if I'm wrong, and I'm sure someone will, but isn't he a holding midfielder/central defender?

Thought, probably wrongly that we needed a left sided player and a striker to partner the goalmachine who is our only hope!!
