Was at the Milk Cup Final - probably his one and only game. Claim to fame was being one of the "men in grey suits" (or was it "grey men in suits"?) that persuaded Thatcher to give it up. Other claim to fame, if I recall correctly, was Denis Healey saying that debating with him was like being savaged by a sheep
