Well no s**t Nigel. This is why it might have been an idea to have actually tried to assemble a bit of a squad over the summer, rather than waiting to spunk all our cash in the loan window.

One last thing - as others have been saying recently - what *is* the point of Ryan Jarvis? We've basically got no other strikers and we cant buy a goal - and he still doesn't make the bench. And no doubt will soon be watching an on-loan has-been wheezing about the pitch up front for us.

Is he very good at making the tea or something? Why else don't we get shot of him?
