I remember me you and him debating about the strength (or lack of) in our squad due to our silly summer of lackluster transfer activity.

At the time he quite rightly pointed out that at that our team WAS strong enough, but if we got a few injuries it might not be.

Well two games later and now when you take Hucks and Dickson out of the team, that point has been more than proved. The fact they even had to play yesterday shows that we cocked up the summer totally.

Like you said, nearly everyone saw it coming, but nothing was done about it.

I'm just praying Worthington can strike lucky on some loans... if not, it's going to be a long season if we get a few more niggling injuries and these youth players arent up to it.
