4-1-4-1 it is, and it means we are light at the front.
The role Saffri plays is a luxury. Let the back four do the job. Saffri passes the ball well, but never from positions where he hurts the opposition. It is no wonder he can find a man, he is never under pressure playing where he does. Whether he plays in a middle four in preference to one of the others is not the argument, but playing anyone in his position just in front of the back four is just as unacceptable as playing an out and out winger who fails to commit defensively when necessary.
