may be fear of waking up the KTFs again, and having to endure more of that pointless non-debate we've been reading since we stopped losing as regularly.

As you say, though, and as many have been quietly observing since the season began: not that much has changed, except maybe that the squad (though slightly better balanced) has become weaker.
