Do you not think that is not something of a risky approach though?

To leave everything until July. Thats what we did last year and ended up missing out on a striker and buying Doherty in what i think was a bit of a panic buy because Primus messed us around. Plus other clubs can steal a march on yuo by getting in early for players.

I would much rather we got the players in/out early and had our squad settled for the pre-season friendlies rather than be still messing around a couple of weeks before the season starts, particularly as having 4 of the first 5 games at home gives us a great chance to get ourselves at the top of the table early and build momentum.
