Exactly, and like you say

He is mentally strong because of the criticism he has taken. He seems very level headed aswell, really down to earth and not up his own arse. He doesnt seem the guy to believe his own hype.

Its quite refreshing to see an England player like that, who hasnt had it al his own way and has to really work for what he has achieved. Unlike some of the players who have been told just how amazing they are all their careers and when things dont go their way or their form dips they blub like crazy and cant make it out?!
