Most people i know still dont rate him

Personally i think his game suits international football, he scares the s**t outta foreign defenders because he is a freak, he has tremendous work rate and rarely gives the ball away. Goals are a bonus. Many other forwards have had opportunities against lower opposition at International level through the years and none of them have grabbed them like Crouchy. The fact of the matter is since Crouch has played for England the team has not beaten/played well against anyone (bar Argentina in a friendly) of any stature. SO its difficult for him to score if the rest of teh team are playing s**t.

The last time we beat a top national side was against Argentina in a friendly and i do believe we were losing 2-1 until a certain 6foot 7" striker was bought on as a substituite.
