Learn it, and ADO.NET once you have the C# down.

If possible also SQL Server (Oracle also poss but much harder to get access to at home).

That gives you way more leverage.- these days people want you to be au fait with n-tier architectures and not just the business (e.g. .NET managed services) and worfklow (e.g ASP.NET) layers.
