These are words we should not forget, nor should we use them

Nursery rhymes like eamy meany miney moo, catch a nigger my the toe were part of my childhood, but my children learnt catch a tigger. Nigger brown was a colour, finding a nigger in the wood pile was a common expression. We can?t change history. However, these ancient sayings and rhymes sometimes leap into my head involuntarily, but I don?t say them or use them. I would be horrified if I did.

We know better now. It?s what evolution is all about
