He isn't the worst player to play for Norwich in the last ten years, and unfortunately everyone on here knows that.
Perhaps if he does come into a team that is doing well at the minute, for whatever reason, he a) has to do well to meet that standard, and b) will get the confidence from being around a confident team. Thus ensuring an improved performance.
If he drags the team down with him, then I will happily admit I'm wrong. I don't think the doom and gloom of last year is an accurate barometer of somebody's skill level - qv Etuhu, Robinson and even Hucks.
