what you're saying is that there wasn't a player throughout the entire league worth adding to the squad to replace Mackenzie.

The moment Leon requested a transfer, NW should have been preparing to replace him in case it proved necessary. With more than one option.

I never, ever thought that we would sell Leon and not replace him yesterday. Not even with the low oinion I have of NW.

For a while yesterday I thought that Wigan might have hijacked the deal so late that we had no chance to tie up plan B. Now I log on tonight and realise we had plenty of time - there just was no plan B.

Which isn't acceptable.
