Good post but..........

We are DESPERATLEY short on strikers now, we only have ONE proven striker.

Thorne is clearly past it, Jarvis and Henderson are clearly not up to it and Mcveigh is not prolific enough as a striker. Basically if 4-5-1 stops to work (temas find us out etc) or Eariie is injured, we are in a dire situation as in this league if you want to get promoted scoring your way out is the best way to do it! Having a prolific strike force is th best way out of this division and can make up for weakness in other areas.

As for loans, i cant ever see that we will pull off a swoop like we did in the Champioinship season. The problem with loans is they eat away at the transfer budget but come 3 months down the line, the budget is substantially lower and we still have a threadbare squad. Also players on loan are rarely that concerned about the club as they know they are trotting off back to their own club in 3 months time.

I dont liek to criticise the club or board, but we have dropped a bollock by letting Mckenzie go and not replacing him, all this talk of Cotteril is all well and good, but hes a WINGER not a striker, also why did we put all our eggs in one basket?
