agreed NW is almost damned if he does...

and damned if he doesn't. He got a lot of criticism last year (myself included) for panic buys, so shouldn't really get knocked for keeping his powder dry. It appears we have had targets but not managed to get them. I'd rather we kept the cash than sign players for the sake of it.
