There's some sense to it

He's not a football coach any more than he's arugby coach. Much to my surprise (I know f**k all about egg chasing) he had nothing to do with coaching, tactics or motivation of the England rugger buggers. His forte is identifying weaknesses in an organisation and appointing the best person in his field to remedy that fault.

He can apply that to pretty much any industry. So why not football?
