I thought your column was a bit OTT and divisive as well.

Though I can see it must be difficult for you to write an objective and unbiased piece as personal friends and frequent guests of Delia and the Board.

The one problem with Rick's site is that it appears totally uncritical of anything to do with NCFC. Even in good times there is room for reasoned criticism, yet you (both) seem oblivious.

It's for that reason that I suspect few will sign up to Rick's site, and maybe because of Rick's insulting language to internet users over the past 12 months. I could never figure out biting the hand that was about to feed you.

So by all means express your view but keep the vitriol down please. Richard Balls - and I don't always agree with him - was prepared to put his head above the parapet last season and speak his mind in a local newspaper, which takes some, er, balls, given that he is easily recognised.

Or would you rather all views contrary to those of the NCFC Board and management were stifled (as Rick appeared to be attempting to do last season?).

Long may our successful start to the season continue.

ps. how many games did you see last season?
