I think its unfair on the team to get carried away

We got more points from harder games at the end of last season, but nobody was pleased with that. The passing football is great, but will it stand up to the tests of the better teams. Furthermore, will our very thin squad cope when we undoubtedly sustain injuries to pretty much any of our team.

I am very much behind the team, but, just as I didn't get overly carried away with last season. We shouldn't expect to finish top 2, or even top 6, based on our first fave games alone.
