Player ratings:

Gallacher - 6 - One good save from a free-kick was all that was required of him.

Drury - 7 - Much better than his performance against Luton.

Doherty - 8 - Easily dealt with everything that was thrown at him.

Shackell - 7 - Solid, apart from one suicide run in the first half which nearly cost us.

Colin - 8 - Great. Looked more keen to overlap today, and supported Croft really well. Yet again he never gave the ball away.

Huckerby - 9 - Started off quite poorly, but rallied as the game progressed. Probably the difference between a 2-1 win and a 5-1 win.

Etuhu - 8 - Kept getting up and down the pitch all game. Wasn't quite involved as much as earlier home games of the season but did what was required. Still want to see him getting in and around the box a bit more though.

Safri - 8 - Started off indifferently with several misplaced passes. Seemed to lose concentration for 10 or so minutes. However, after half time the old Saf was back and he pulled the strings as we've come to expect.

Robinson - 8 - Great goal. Hit several killer balls and was generally economic with the ball.

Croft - 8/9 - Constant threat down the right, their full back had no idea what he was going to do. Earned his goal, he really is a Hucks on the right, but not quite as fit/fast (yet!).

Earnshaw - 8 - 2 goals, you can't argue with that. Seemed to disappear in the early part of the second half but eventually got another goal.

McVeigh - 6 - Probably overshadowed by Croft's display. Was decent enough when he came on though.

Flem - 5 - I'm sure he's earned enough over his career not to need complimentary win bonuses. Glad he didn't replace Colin though, he hasn't deserved to be subbed.

McKenzie - 5 - Didn't do alot. Simply unable to live up to Earnie's example. I'd happily sell him and replace him with someone like Eastwood...
