Why does he have the right to retire at 35? I wish I could. These days many people have several different careers. There is no reason why he couldn't start doing something else when he retires from football. Even after tax etc he'll have been paid about ?1m in the three years he's been at Norwich. He should have plenty to set him up for a future career.
