Surely not. I think there are many ways in which Boothroyd is different from Worthington. Just watch the way Watford approach games this year.
You say you think 'we are trying to do just that' (i.e. mount a real challenge) but patently we aren't are we? We have settled for 'safety'; we know we will get good crowds, we will only sign 'solid' 'decent' characters, we will never take risks. Like I said before..Norwich City will remain solid, well-run, decent and respectable. I will always have a team to support. We never again want to flirt with bankruptcy.. but it's DULL!
I don't think it's impossible to be well-run and solid but also to be adventurous and imaginative on the field if you have the right manager. We have a very solid bloke who was a solid defender. hence we never take undue risks ..ESPECIALLY AWAY FROM HOME.
