Yes, I think you are right and I respect your views completely.

But what I am saying is that I, and others like me, want to see us try to prove that it is possible to cahllenge that view.

The relevance of Boothroyd is that I think he's trying to do that. Actually I don't think they will go down.

Things have changed but when Stringer and Walker took us close to the top we were still massively behind the 'big boys' in terms of resources. Even now that attitude would give us a chance of matching the likes of Middlesbrough, Man City, Everton etc.

But 0-0 at Derby without a shot on target...
