As said below - each to their own...

I don't dislike Ryan Adams, but I've not heard anything of his to touch the Want albums.

I also like the old Dylan stuff, but he hasn't written anything decent since the mid-70s and nothing with the musical scope of Rufus' stuff.

It all depends on whether the real kitchen sink an' all production values do it for you. I love the old Sinatra stuff with Billy May's arrangements, so of course I think Rufus is the greatest thing since sliced bread (or in fact including sliced bread!)
