People tend to moan about Worthy and his usual transfer comments - "Right player at the right price", etc.
Looking at other managers in the Football League in the last month or so, I have been seeing the same sort of comments in the media - "The quality just isn't there for the price", "Players are going for massively over-the-odds prices", "Can't match the wage expectations" and so on.
It's looking more like a League-wide problem than just a Norwich problem. Whether it's symptomatic of a general increase in player prices, a realisation that football clubs don't make money, a disinclination to sell, or just determination to screw every penny out of every transfer I don't know.
