much more urgency and running off the ball which is pleasing. However neither side really looked as though they were going to score today.

Desmond is a man transformed, at last he's bringing some steel and support from midfield. Robinson is looking livelier this year, but too many of his passes still find the oppo. Shacks, Doc and Drury particularly solid today. Hucks had one of his better games so far this season. Crofty was lively, but looked f**ked after two thirds which is why Squiz came on... but made little impact.

Earnie though was the man that stood out for me today. He must have had close to a dozen chances.. and all but one he screwed high, wide and handsome. Quite unbelieveable, coz on another day he would have netted three or four of those.
